Caribe Tours is a passenger bus company that operates within the Dominican Republic and Haiti. With over 1,000 employees and over 600 buses, it runs a regularly scheduled passenger service to and from its main terminal in Santo Domingo. Passenger services include an intra-urban service, which operates within the greater metropolitan area of Santo Domingo, as well as an inter-urban service to several major towns throughout the Dominican Republic.

History

Caribe Tours was founded on September 15, 1985, by a group of entrepreneurs led by José Hernández Andújar.

In May of 2022, Caribe Tours cancelled its service to Haiti indefinitely after several buses were hijacked near Port-au-Prince.[1]

Fleet

Caribe Tours operates over 600 buses in its fleet. In 2018, the company added 42 Marcopolo S.A G7 Paradiso buses to their fleet.[2]
