Carter Pinnington (born 21 February 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Liverpool.[1]
Career
[edit]Born on the Wirral and from Bebington, Pinnington joined Liverpool at U7 level.[2] He made his debut for the Liverpool's U18 side during the 2022/23 season and signed a scholarship contract with the club’s academy in July 2023.[3]
He made his debut for Liverpool in the EFL Trophy during the 2023-2024 season whilst 16 years-old, playing as a centre-back.[4][5] In March 2024, he trained with the Liverpool first team and was added to the first team squad for the UEFA Europa League match against Sparta Prague on 14 March 2024.[6] He signed his first professional contract with Liverpool at the end of the 2024 season.[7]
