Daniel Foxx (born 30 March 1994) is a British comedian and writer who lives in London.[1] He has a large following on both TikTok and Instagram where his comedy sketches garner millions of views. Alongside this, he is co-writer of a number of comedy musicals with Fat Rascal Theatre, most recently 'Unfortunate: The Untold Story Of Ursula The Sea Witch.[2]
Biography
[edit]Daniel Foxx was born in the United Kingdom, on 30 March 1994. He grew up in Wickham, Hampshire in the South of England and attended Peter Symonds College for his A-Levels, followed by Kings College, London where he graduated in 2015 with a degree in English Literature.[3]
His stand-up comedy career began at university where he participated in student stand-up nights and was a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards.[4] After graduating he had around 6 years away from comedy whilst writing plays, screenplays and musical theatre, but returned to the circuit in 2019. Since then he has provided tour support for Rosie Jones, Josh Widdicombe, and Sofie Hagen.[1] In 2022 he was signed by Off the Kerb.[5]
In his musical theatre role, Foxx has so far written eight musicals.[6]
Personal life
[edit]Foxx identifies as gay[7] and is in a relationship with former pro-wrestler Tyler Devlin, who is originally from Grimsby. Devlin and Foxx met on Tinder.[8] They live in North London with their Frow-Frow (Frenchie x Chow Chow) dog called Paddy.
Foxx is a vegetarian, doesn't consume dairy and is a fan of a milk substitute, in particular an oat milk.
