David Manfredi, FAIA, is an American architect and co-founding principal of Elkus Manfredi Architects of Boston. He has degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Chicago.[1] He began his career in Boston at the Architects' Collaborative, founded by Walter Gropius, where he was a coworker of Howard Elkus. In 1988 the two formed Elkus Manfredi Architects. Elkus died in 2017 and Manfredi now serves as CEO Of Elkus Manfredi Architects. [2] At present the firm is the largest in Massachusetts in terms of total revenue.[3]

Manfredi is the winner of the 2023 Druker Award and Lecture[4], given to the professional who has contributed substantially to the design profession. Manfredi has been the subject of numerous articles in the regional and national press, including at the Boston Globe[5] and Fast Company.[6] He has also penned thought leadership pieces for the local media.[7]
