Derek Deprey (born April 14th, 1980 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin) is an American professor and author who was also a scout for the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was also the former Coordinator of Basketball Operations for the NCAA with Marquette University, and one year as the Director of Player Development with the University of Utah.[1] He also worked under the management of George Karl, Sam Mitchell, and Mike Schuler.[2]
Authorship[edit]
Deprey's authorship includes the popular "SHIFT: Move from Frustrated to Fulfilled" (ISBN-10 • 1946114049, ISBN-13: 978-1946114044) where Deprey teaches the reader a unique, proprietary 5-gear process which moves the reader from frustrated to fulfilled in life. Within each chapter, the reader is confronted with practical exercises calls to create change in one's life.[3][4]

Deprey attended Manitowoc Lutheran High School before attending Wisconsin Lutheran College (Graduate 2002) with a Degree of Business Administrations and a Graduate Degree with the United States Sports Academy 2005 -- Master's degree of Sports Management.
