The Donders Institute explores the human brain, cognition, and behaviour across various disciplines, including medicine, physics, biology, psychology, AI, and language studies. Scientists collaborate to enhance knowledge of the brain, aiming to benefit health, education, and technology. The research covers the interface between genetic, molecular, and cellular processes at one end and computational, system-level neuroscience with cognitive and behavioural analysis at the other end. The research focuses on four themes:^[1]:

Language and communication
Perception, action, and decision-making
Development and lifelong plasticity
Natural computing and neurotechnology

Organization

The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour is a network organisation of the Radboud University, consisting of six partners^[2]
