Harry Robert Lyall was an American conductor and opera administrator. He headed the New Orleans Opera for 23 seasons from 1998 to 2021.[1]

In 2015, Lyall stepped down from his role as artistic director of Opera Grand Rapids after leading it for 26 seasons since 1989.[2]

He died due to complications of cancer.[3]
