It's Been a Minute is a podcast and radio program published by American public radio network NPR. The podcast aims to explore popular culture through interviews with creators, artists, critics and fans of various forms of popular media.[1]

Hosts and program[edit]

  • Brittany Luse - current host. Luse began hosting the program in October 2022. Previously, she hosted the Spotify podcast, The Nod with co-host Eric Eddings, as well as For Colored Nerds. [2] [3]

Former hosts[edit]

  • Sam Sanders - Sanders was the initial host and creator of the show, from 2017-2022. After 12 years in various roles at NPR, they joined the Vox Media Group, as host of Into It, to host a new pop culture podcast under the Vulture brand.[4]

History[edit]

A subscription-based, ad-free version of the podcast, It's Been a Minute+ was made available to for paid subscribers.
