- Brittany Luse - current host. Luse began hosting the program in October 2022. Previously, she hosted the Spotify podcast, The Nod with co-host Eric Eddings, as well as For Colored Nerds. [2] [3]
Former hosts[edit]
- Sam Sanders - Sanders was the initial host and creator of the show, from 2017-2022. After 12 years in various roles at NPR, they joined the Vox Media Group, as host of Into It, to host a new pop culture podcast under the Vulture brand.[4]

A subscription-based, ad-free version of the podcast, It's Been a Minute+ was made available to for paid subscribers.
