James Staunton Babcock was a writer in the U ited Atates. He wrote poetry and a memoir of Nathan Hale. He wrote and ode to Niagara Falls.
He spent time in the South including in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and documented his travels in letters. He also delivered lectures on"Truth Seeking".[1]
Born in South Coventry, Connecticut November 7, 1815. Died April 13, 1847.
