From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kerry Steuart (born December 18, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is a Gulf War veteran, yoga instructor, and life coach. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years, earning several accolades for his service during the Persian Gulf War and the Liberation of Kuwait, including the Air Force Achievement Medal and Kuwait Liberation Medal. After retiring from the military in 2014, Steuart found relief from chronic pain and PTSD through yoga and meditation, which he credits with transforming his health and well-being.

Steuart is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) accredited by Yoga Alliance. He has dedicated his post-military career to helping others through yoga, meditation, and life coaching. His teachings focus on reducing pain, alleviating PTSD symptoms, and managing stress, promoting both physical and mental well-being. Steuart offers a variety of yoga classes and workshops, ranging from physically challenging sessions to mindfulness and meditation practices. His work encourages individuals to discover their personal paths to healing.

In 2017, Steuart founded MYKC - Live Bliss, a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower individuals to live intentionally and find their true purpose through life coaching and wellness practices. Under his leadership, Live Bliss has positively impacted participants by significantly increasing self-care practices, conflict resolution skills, and sleep quality, while reducing stress and anxiety.

Steuart’s journey to wellness began after being medically discharged from the Air Force in 1999, suffering from chronic pain and PTSD. After his daughter suggested yoga, Steuart embraced mindfulness and meditation, which led to a profound personal transformation. Today, he shares this experience with others, helping veterans, first responders, and community members navigate their own paths to healing.

In addition to his work with Live Bliss, Steuart is a key contributor to Warriors’ Ascent, a program designed to help veterans and first responders overcome trauma. Research has shown that the program effectively reduces emotional and psychological suffering through yoga, meditation, and self-discovery practices.

Steuart also engages with diverse communities through speaking engagements, workshops, and corporate events, addressing topics such as self-care, mindfulness, conflict resolution, and financial wellness. He has led thousands of individuals through yoga and personal growth programs. Steuart’s work extends to his YouTube channel, where he offers yoga sessions and personal interviews with individuals from his community.

In his personal life, Kerry Steuart is married with three children and three grandchildren. His life’s mission is to continue sharing the transformative power of yoga and mindfulness, helping others achieve balance, resilience, and purpose in their lives.
