Lander Emery Fernandez (29 March 2003) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Aston Villa as a goalkeeper.[3]

Career

Emery played for Spanish club CD Roda B, who play in the Valencian League prior to joining Aston Villa.[4] He joined up with the Aston Villa's under-21 team in January 2024.[5]

On 19 May 2024, he was named amongst the first team matchday substitutes in the Premier League for the first time as Villa played away at Crystal Palace.[6]

Personal life

He is the son of Unai Emery.[7] His grandather and great grandfather, Juan Emery and Antonio Emery, were also goalkeepers.[8]
