Milind Raikar is a violinist from Goa, India. He was born on December 1964.
From his early years, young master Milind demonstrated exceptional promise in music. He was five years old when he made his stage debut as a vocalist.
Milind learned from his father Shri Atchut Raikar, Pt. Vasantrao Kadnekar (vocalist from Kala Academy Goa), and Pt. B.S.Math (violinist from Dharwad).
Padmashri Pandit D. K. Datar and Gaan Saraswati Padma Vibhushan Late Shreemati Kishoritai Amonkar are his primary teachers.
In order to spread the music of his Guru Padit Datar, he founded the Raikar Academy of Violin in 2006, where students of all ages could come and study the violin.
He resides in Mumbai.
