Early Life and Family
[edit]Nishan Sikdar was born on 29 September 1999 in Kodalia Village, Kolkata, into a Bengali Hindu family. He is the elder son of Niranjan Sikdar and Madhu Sikdar and has a younger brother, Nirman Sikdar.
His family initially lived in a modest one-bedroom house in Subhasgram, Kolkata, before moving to Kodalia in 2015, where they experienced slight improvements in their financial situation. Nishan's father worked as a daily laborer before passing away in 2017 due to kidney failure. After this, Nishan took on the responsibility of supporting his family. Despite financial challenges, he maintained a strong work ethic and commitment to his family’s well-being.
Education
[edit]Nishan attended Kodalia Prasanna Banga High School in Kolkata, where he excelled in his studies. He pursued further education at Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya, earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Later, he is doing a M.Com degree from Netaji Subhas Open University. Nishan also took courses in web and app development at the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) and the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development.
Career
[edit]Nishan began his career in 2019 with a food delivery job, followed by a role as an LIC agent in 2018. By 2021, he entered the BPO sector, working with companies such as FastInfo Legal Services Pvt. Ltd., Fusion CX India, and Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited. His adaptability and dedication led to swift career growth.
In 2021, Nishan was recognized as a Rising Star at FastInfo Legal Services Pvt. Ltd. In 2023, he expanded his professional portfolio by taking on a role in human resources.

Personal Life
