The Odaa Nabee is a sycamore tree in East Shewa, Ethiopia considered sacred in the Waaqeffanna religion. This tree was used to conduct rites, pass laws, settle disputes, and a spiritual guide. The Tulama Oromo used this place as part of their intricate Gadaa Republic from 5th or perhaps 3rd century AD.[1][2]
