Pelophylax cypriensis ya da kıbrıs su kurbağası kurbağa ailesine mensup bir Su kurbağası. Kıbrıs bölgesine endemiktir [1][2]. Kıbrısın büyük bir alanına dağılan, en yüksek yoğunluğu adanın en nemli kısmı olan Trodos Dağları bölgesindedir. KKüçük havuzlar, akarsular ve su yollarını içeren akan ve durağan sularda yaşabilir .[3]
Açıklama
[edit]Dişilerin (75mm'ye kadar vücut uzunluğu) erkeklerden (65mm'ye kadar) daha büyük olduğu, ortanca boy kurbağa. Derisi daha çok siğilli ve renkleri geniş ölçüde değişkenlik gösterir. Ön bacaklarında dört adet perdesiz ve arka bacaklarında beş perdeli parmağı bulunur.[4] Ekekler dışlarında çiftli ses teli bulunur.[5]
