Phantom Handshakes are an Italian/US musical duo consisting of Federica Tassano (vocalist for the band Sooner) and Matt Sklar (bassist for the band Parrot Dream). Their music is described as low-fi, dream pop.
History
[edit]Formed during the COVID19 lock-down of 2020[1] Phantom Handshakes came about when Matt recorded some instrumentals and posted on Craigslist looking for someone to collaborate on vocals.
They released their first single called "Stubborn" in 2020 followed by an album "Be Estranged" the same year. Their latest release is single called "Dusk Enhanced" from 2024.
There latest album "Sirens at Golden Hour" is due to be released on August 21 2024.[2]
