Rachel Lydia Rand (born on March 2, 1971) is an American transgender musician, software engineer and political candidate. She was a US Navy Fleet Musician from 1992-1996 and from 1997-2000. She started a website to display her jazz influenced music and apps in 1999 which became https://dottrombone.com in 2008..[1]. She ran for US Representative in Oregon's 3rd Congressional District in 2018, 2020 and 2024 [2]
