Born on July 22, 2004, Sage-SFR is an up-and-coming hip hop artist from Rosettenville, South Africa. Although he grew up in Johannesburg, his love for music began when he moved to Johannesburg South. In 2022, Sage-SFR released his first EP, which quickly gained attention in the South African hip hop scene. With a unique sound and message, Sage-SFR is making an impact in the music world and is well on his way to stardom.
Sage-SFR's music is a reflection of his life and experiences, and he often explores themes of love, loss, and hope in his lyrics. His sound is influenced by artists like Nasty C and AKA, but he brings his own unique style and perspective to the genre. sage-sfr also known as Emmanuel Mkhize is an artist from Johannesburg South Africa who grew up in the outskirts of the inner city and later moved to rosettenville in his teenage years sage-sfr was raised by a single mother (Thulisile Mkhize) and he highly usees her as her inspiration in most of his songs.He is an artist which took inspiration from artist like emtee,travis scott juice wrld and other mainstream hiphop artists,he uses a mix of melodic singing and artistic trap flows to make his music one of these songs is titled waytoolong which he produced with the help of Kelly Ali. Sage-sfr has made some what an impact to the Rosettenville Hiphop scene with the release of his extended play(ep) upside-down.
