Sam Gharibian (سام قریبیان, born January 3, 1980, New York City) is an actor and producer, known for Mr. Brooks (2007), The Sinners (2012), 360 Degree (2016) and The Excellency (2017)

He received a bachelor's degree in Film & Television directing with minor in Business Management from CSU and a master's degree in Film & Television Producing & management from Chapman University. In addition, took one-year course at the New York Film Academy. He returned to Iran one year after completing his studies. Sam Gharibian has won the best screenplay award for "Sinners" from the Swiss Lucerne International Film Festival in Switzerland. He also was a guest professor at the University of Art's Cinema Theatr in Tehran. Gharibian has won the World Award for Best Translation from Gourmand Book Festival for translation of the book "Pomegranate and Roses". He is currently a candidate for a Ph.D. in Sociology of Art and Critical Thinking in cinema from Saas-Fee University in Switzerland.
