Siavash Kamkar (سیاوش کامکار) is an Iranian santur player and composer. He is the son of Pashang Kamkar and Soudabeh Salem. He is the youngest member of the Kamkars ensemble and has released nine independent music albums so far. In 2011.

In 2008, Siavash Kamkar's collection of pieces for santur and string quartet was performed in Rudaki hall concert.[4]

Biography

Siavash Kamkar began his musical journey by learning to play the tombak under the guidance of his uncle, Arjang Kamkar. He then first learned the santur from his mother, Soodabeh Salem, and later studied under Pashang Kamkar and Ardavan Kamkar. He also studied harmony and orchestration with Houshang Kamkar.
