Sunflower is an upcoming American thriller film written and directed by Misha Green with Jurnee Smollett and Isabel May as the leads.

Two abducted women are placed in a college professor’s prison-like sunflower farm.

Development[edit]
On February 19, 2010, Wes Craven was in talks to direct Misha Green’s script Sunflower.[1] But on August 3, 2012, Adam Blaiklock took over directing the movie from Craven, with Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Productions producing the film and 20th Century Fox set to distribute.[2] On January 31, 2023, Green set to direct as well as produce the movie with Craig Flores for Lionsgate.[3][4]
Casting[edit]
On January 31, 2023, Jurnee Smollett was casted in the film.[3] On May 15, 2023, Isabel May was casted in the movie.[5]
Filming[edit]
On January 31, 2023, principal photography was set to start in the summer of 2023.[3]
