The House Across The Street is a four-part English crime drama television miniseries created and written by Giula Sanders for Channel 5. Directed by Dominic Leclerc, the series premiered October 17, 2022 and concluded on October 25, 2022.
The series follows a single mother named Claudia, who lacks a close relationship with her son and is desperate for some connection. When a local child goes missing, she sees her opportunity to get involved. Starring Shirley Henderson[1], Craig Parkinson[2], Ian Lloyd Anderson[3] and Lisa Dwyer Hogg[4].
The show was previously named The Winter Child[5] during production, however post production the name was changed to The House Across the Street.
Premise
[edit]A single mother named Claudia, who is recovering from cancer and recently divorced is struggling to maintain a close relationship with her son, and is desperate for some connection. However when a local child goes missing, she sees her opportunity to get involved, following a downward spiral of untrustworthy neighbours and coming to terms with her own relationships and recovery.[6]
