The Sea Snake is an upcoming American television series based on the universe of A Song of Ice and Fire created by George R. R. Martin. It is a prequel to Game of Thrones.

In March, 2021 it was announced that HBO was in early development for a television series titled 9 Voyages.[1] The title was later changed to The Sea Snake.[2]

The series had changed format to an animated series by 2024.[3]
