Theodore J. Bourne (1822-1910) was a white clergyman who united with African American clergy in New York to found the African Civilization Society.[1] Abolitionist editor George Bourne was his father. Yale University has a collection of his and his family's papers.[2]

He corresponded with William Lloyd Garrison.[3][4] He wrote Rev. George Bourne, the pioneer of American antislavery about his father.
