[edit]In 2017, Tiwayo collaborated with American producer Mark Neill to create his first album, recorded in Soil Of The South studio in Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Together, they recorded 13 songs with local musicians, presenting a journey through Tiwayo's musical inspirations which are deeply rooted in the blues, southern soul and the music of Jamaica.
The recordings were mixed by sound engineer and producer Philippe Weiss at Philippe Zdar Motorbass Studios in Paris.
This debut album, The Gypsy Soul of Tiwayo, was released by Blue Note (France) in 2019 while he was on tour with Norah Jones, Gregory Porter and Marcus Miller.
The album was also supported by a tour in Europe, including Germany, U.K and Switzerland.
In 2021, Tiwayo released a single, Baby Don't You Worry , featuring soul singer Ty Taylor (from the group Vintage Trouble).

Desert Dream is an intimate 10-track album, conceived like a road movie which, via Tiwayo's sensitive voice, unfolds through soulful and cinematic compositions.
