Tyler Edwin Wall (born 1987 in Fairburn, Georgia) is an author, cybersecurity expert, and CEO of Cyber NOW Education and known for his book Jump-start Your SOC Analyst Career: A Roadmap to Cybersecurity Success.

Career

Since graduating from DeVry University in 2012, Wall has worked at multiple enterprise companies as a cybersecurity analyst, engineer, and architect. He spent over a decade working in and around the Security Operations Centers (SOC). He earned his Master's degree from Purdue University Global in 2021 and his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2018 among other credentials over the course of his career.

Jump-start Your SOC Analyst Career: A Roadmap to Cybersecurity Success is now in its 2nd edition, published in 2024.^[1], and is the winner of the 2024 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards in the category of Best Cybersecurity Book ^[2]. During his 2024 book tour, he was featured in SC Magazine on Enterprise Security Weekly^[3], ITSP Podcast^[4] and has been featured in local newspapers^[5].

Wall's company, Cyber NOW Education, is a cybersecurity training provider and offers additional services for Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst job seekers^[6]
