Yash Vagadia is an English cricketer who plays for Yorkshire Cricket Club as an all-rounder.[1]
Early life
[edit]Born in Newcastle, he first played for Yorkshire at Under 14s level. He plays club cricket for Hartlepool.[2] He was head boy at Teesside High School, in Eaglescliffe, where he earned 2 A* and an A in his A-Level examinations in August 2022.[3]
Career
[edit]He was a student at Durham University when he signed his first rookie contract with Yorkshire in November 2022, he was named the Yorkshire academy player of the year in 2022.[4] A season in which he averaged over 50 with the bat at junior level.[5] In July 2023, he extended his contract with Yorkshire by another year.[6][7]
