Yohanes Asmare (born 29 March 2006) is an Ethiopian middle distance and cross country runner.[1]
Career
[edit]Asmare won the 1500m race at the Ethiopian under-18 championships in Asella in March 2022.[2]
In October 2023, he won the men's race at the Northern Ireland International Cross Country event in Belfast finishing ahead of home runner Nick Griggs and Spaniard Ilias Fifa.[3]
He set a new personal best over a mile indoors in Boston, Massachusetts in February 2024.[4]
