2023-24 Champions League is coming and it might be time to have some early looks into the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League

[edit]

For the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League we will have a lot of changes. Currently there is not any official confirmation for the distribution table, but I guess we can keep it as long as this remains a draft article?

I will look for some sources, and maybe attempt to make a teams table - which we can alter if new information comes out. Thomediter (talk) 22:46, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Russia

@Achmad Rachmani

Hi :)

I noticed that you edited Russia in the coefficient table I made. I originally wrote their coefficient as 26.215, and you have changed it to 21.882. I wanted to hear your considerations for making that edit, because as I understand it, here it says at the bottom of the page - "Due to the suspension of all Russian national teams and clubs from UEFA competitions until further notice, as decided by the UEFA Executive Committee on 28 February 2022, having as a consequence that no Russian clubs are participating in the current 2022/23 UEFA club competitions season, Russia will be assigned with the lowest amount of coefficient points they have earned over the last five seasons, i.e. 4.333 points for the men’s association club coefficient and 1.750 for the women’s association club coefficient upon completion of the 2022/23 season."

I interpert this as when the 2022/23 season has been completed, Russia will be given 4.333 coefficient points, thus making their coefficient 26.215 for next season's UCL, regardless of whether they'll be allowed to compete.

Have a nice day :), thomediter Thomediter (talk) 09:15, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
