[edit]I think this person meets WP:GNG. There's fairly substantial discussion of her research in https://www.northcarolinahealthnews.org/2022/03/30/rural-hospital-closures-cluster-poor-diverse-counties/ which is a local, topic-specific, but otherwise apparently plausible news outlet. There are also a few paragraphs in https://trellis.net/article/why-environmental-justice-research-needs-include-disability/ pulling from her expertise, and that also appears to be an independent minor news outlet. Though these are both in the form of introducing an expert and their expertise and talking significantly about what the expert thinks about a subject, so I'm not quite sure if the "coverage" counts for the expert, the subject, or both.
