Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is not a repost of any previous article. I typed the article myself and was completely unaware that another article by the same name had ever existed.--MonroeHarless (talk) 17:24, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's funny you say that, because the lede is 100%, word-for-word identical to the article that was deleted. Writ Keeper  18:09, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Writ Keeper  18:09, 8 December 2016 (UTC) I'm terribly sorry it comes across as plagiarism. I can assure you I typed it myself and would be happy to reword it if necessary. (MonroeHarless (talk) 18:13, 8 December 2016 (UTC))[reply]

(MonroeHarless (talk) 18:13, 8 December 2016 (UTC)) I think that rewording the lede would be acceptable. The rest of your own article is original material, so simply altering the lede would settle all plagiarism disputes. Lexi Lawson is considered a Notable Replacement under the article of Hamilton (Musical), which has surely been reviewed by many admins. For this reason, she should be considered notable alumni. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cannon212 (talkcontribs) [reply]

Yes, do reword the lede. Though that's not how notability works, Cannon212, and I'm not convinced that this article has brought any new information to light that would change the outcome of an AfD from last time. Writ Keeper  18:21, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
