Canoe yawl[edit]

The redirect from 'canoe' to Cutter (boat) is unhelpful because 'canoe' or 'canoe yawl' are not mentioned in the Cutter article. Nor are they mentioned in Yawl. It would be good if someone with knowledge and sources (I have neither!) could add something - perhaps a section in Yawl - to explain what a 'canoe yawl' is; it would be useful to link it from here and from Albert Strange. -- Verbarson  talkedits 11:22, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the redirect.
The explaination of "canoe yawl" was removed after my (careful) insertion and I will not start an argument. References are "The Canoe Yawl: From the Birth of Leisure Sailing to the 21st Century" by Richard Powell (Lodestar Books) EricPhilippot (talk) 11:10, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
