This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (even though it's made by an individual more than 15 years ago, it's now a website which is recognized by Sri Lankan government as the main digital archive for Sri Lankan films. It won the best website award of the year as well. Lots of researchers and University students use it. It's functioning thanks to donations and volunteers just like Wikipedia. It's also the only internet database for Sri Lankan movies and I believe if IMDB can have its own Wikipedia page, Sinhala Cinema Database deserves to have one too.) --Nir007H (talk) 14:14, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
