Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! (ドラゴンボールオッス！帰ってきた孫悟空と仲間たち！！, Doragon Bōru Ossu! Kaette Kita Son Gokū to Nakama-tachi!!) is an upcoming Dragon Ball animated film that will premier at the "Jump Super Anime Tour" in November 2008. It is the first animated Dragon Ball feature in twelve years, following the tenth anniversary film Saikyō e no Michi (The Path to Power in Funimation dub), not including the One Piece and Dragon Ball crossover shorts Kyūtai Panic Adventure and Kyūtai Panic Adventure Returns! in 2003 and 2004.

Plot

Based on an original concept by the original author Akira Toriyama, the story, set shortly after the defeat of the evil half of Majin Buu, pits Son Goku and his friends against a new, powerful enemy.

Characters

This special introduces five new characters: Abo (アボ) and Kado (カド),^[1]^[2]^[3] red and blue aliens wearing battle fatigues, one relatively small, yellow alien, a young Saiyan child named Tarbel (ターブル, Tāburu)^[4], and a large, purple alien named Aka (アカ).^[5]

Though very little about the plot has been revealed, Tarble has arrived on Earth, being pursued by Abo and Kado.^[1]
