Goldenberg later became a partner at Bennett Jones LLP.[3] He was a supporter of Bob Rae's bid to become Liberal leader in 2006.[4] Goldenberg is the author of The Way It Works, a bestselling book about his experiences working with Chrétien.[2] He was described as Chrétien's "Machiavelli."[2]
