Edinburgh Comic Con is an annual fan convention organised by Hero Conventions and run at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland since 2014.[1] It features guests from comics, film and television industries, and includes talks,[2] displays and a prize cosplay competition.
In July 2015, the organisers announced an "Artist Searchlight" competition to design the cover for the 2016 programme.[3]

Edinburgh Comic Con were the first to bring comic creators Leonardo Manco and Ryan Browne to the UK,[citation needed] and were the first to feature an exclusive premier of Metal Hurlant Chronicles. They were also the first convention in Scotland to feature Star Trek Axanar.
