Edson Omar Álvarez Velázquez (born October 24, 1997 in Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays for Club América of Liga MX.

Club Career

América

Álvarez joined América's youth system in 2014 joining the club's Fuerzas Basicas 17 team. The following season, while still playing for Fuerzas Basicas 17, Álvarez began playing for América's Segunda Division team. [1]

Ricardo LaVolpe gave Álvarez his league debut on October 29th 2016.[2]
