Edward (Ted) George Hudson Oliver, (1938- ) is a South African Botanist and author. Edward 'Ted' George Hudson Oliver was born 14 October 1938 in Rondebosch. Oliver is an expert in heathers (genus Erica in the family Ericaceae)and has discovered and named several.[1]
