Efrain Esquivias (born February 29, 1988 in Carson, California) is a Mexican American professional boxer in the Super Bantamweight division and is the current WBA Fedelatin Super Bantamweight Champion.[1] Efrain is trained by 5-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing gym.[2]

Amateur career

In 2006 Efrain won the National Golden Gloves Championships at Bantamweight.[3]

Professional career

On March 25, 2011 Esquivias beat the veteran John Alberto Molina to win the WBA Fedelatin Super Bantamweight Championship.[4] However, on June 23, 2012 Esquivias lost to Rico Ramos by decision in 8 rounds.
