Eiko Yamazawa

Eiko Yamazawa (山沢 栄子, Yamazawa Eiko, 1899.2.19–1995.7.16) was a renowned Japanese photographer.
She studied nihonga at Private Women's School of Fine Arts.[1] She studied oil painting at California School of Fine Arts[2] where she worked with Consuelo Kanaga.[3] In 1931 she opened a portrait studio in Osaka.[3] In 1950 she established the Yamazawa Institute of Photography in Osaka.[3] In 1960 she moved to abstraction.[3]
