Eka Hasta Bhujasana is an Asana. It is translated as One Arm Pressure Pose or Elephant Trunk Pose from Sanskrit. The name of this pose comes from "eka" meaning "one", "hasta" meaning "hand", "bhuja" meaning "pressure", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat". The pose shape resembles an elephant's trunk.[1][2]

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has many benefits: it strengthens wrists, arms and shoulders, promotes sense of balance, strengthens the core, opens the inner hips and things.

Be careful white doing this pose if you have wrist, arms, shoulder, spinal or hip injuries. Do not do this pose if pregnant or suffering from severe high blood pressure.[1][2]
