El-B (born Lewis Beadle) is a British producer and DJ. He is commonly seen as one of the pioneers of the dubstep genre. He was initially one half of the duo known as Groove Chronicles but left in 1999 to pursue a solo career. He runs the Ghost Recordings label and is also part of the duo El-Tuff. He was relatively inactive from 2004 - 2006, but played a comeback set at The End in London in June 2006 and now regularly tours and releases digital and 12" music
