El amor y el espanto (Love and Dread) is a 2001 Argentine drama film directed by Juan Carlos Desanzo and written by José Pablo Feinmann. It stars Miguel Ángel Solá, Blanca Oteyza and Victor Laplace.

Synopsis

A fictitious series of incidents in the life of the Argentine short-story writer and poet Jorge Luis Borges, all of them delving into Borges' mind and writings, and depicting his thoughts and fears during Juan Domingo Perón's first term as President, in 1946.
