Elias Bou Saab

Elias Bou Saab, born in Dhour El Choueir, is the Lebanese Education Minister and, alongside Gebran Bassil, one of the two representatives of Michel Aoun's Free Patriotic Movement in the Tammam Salam's government.

He is the founder of the American University in Dubai (AUD) and he helped funding the television station OTV, Al Mada.org news site and Sawt Al Mada radio station which are the broadcasting channels of the Free Patriotic Movement. He was mayor of Dhour El Choueir in 2009-2012. His wife is the singer Julia Boutros.[1][2]
