Cocciaretto has a career high WTA singles ranking of 804, achieved on 20 November 2017. She also has a career high WTA doubles ranking of 1107, also achieved on 20 November 2017.

On the junior tour, Cocciaretto has a career high combined ranking of 17, achieved on 5 February 2018. She also reached the semifinals of the 2018 Australian Open girls' singles, losing to eventual champion Liang En-shuo.

Cocciaretto made her Fed Cup debut for Italy in 2018.
