Lady Elizabeth Clyde (born 26 December 1918) is an English socialite. She is the daughter of Gerald Wellesley, 7th Duke of Wellington, and Dorothy Violet Ashton, and is thus a great-great-granddaughter of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington.

She married Major Thomas Clyde of the Royal Horse Guards, son of William Pancoast Clyde, on 18 November 1939. The family lived at Dorney in Buckinghamshire. The marriage ended in divorce in 1960.[1]

Her children are:

  • the actor Jeremy Clyde (born 22 March 1941)
  • Robin Clyde (19 April 1943 – 13 February 1950)
  • William Jonathan Clyde (born 27 May 1948).

She retired to Bramley near Basingstoke.
