Emma Ríos Maneiro (born January 1, 1976, Vilagarcía de Arousa) is a Spanish comics artist and illustrator who debuted in the United States with Hexed, published by Boom! Studios in 2008.[1] Her early career consisted of self-publishing the comic book series APB and zines. After her debut, she joined Marvel Comics, drawing for the Doctor Strange series (Strange) written by Mark Waid as her first major work. Ríos has also drawn for the titles The Amazing Spider-Man, Girl Comics, and Runaways. In 2013, she teamed up with Kelly Sue DeConnick to draw the miniseries Osborn. Ríos and DeConnick joined forces again for Pretty Deadly, their second book published by Image Comics. Besides, she coordinates the Island magazine with Brandon Graham and creates Mirror with Hwei Lim, both projects also published by Image Comics.[2][3]

Emma Ríos Maneiro is also a rapier fencer specializing in La Verdadera Destreza.
