Estadio Benito Villamarín[2] [esˈtaðjo βeˈnito βiʎamaˈɾin] is a football stadium in Seville, Spain. It is the home stadium of Real Betis.

Location

The stadium is located in the Avenida de la Palmera zone, 41012 Sevilla.

History

The ground opened in 1929, and its first match involved the Spain national football team. It hosted two matches in the 1982 FIFA World Cup.[3]
