Eta Sagittae (Eta Sge, η Sagittae, η Sge) is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +5.09. It is approximately 162 light years from Earth.

Eta Sagittae is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 45.3 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 19,100 and 25,500 light years from the center of the Galaxy. It will come closest to the Sun 953,000 years from now when it will brighten to magnitude 3.30 from a distance of 70 light years.[1]
