Ethos Capital is a private equity investment firm founded in 2019. Its only investment has been the acquisition of the Public Interest Registry,[1] the organization in charge of managing the .org top-level domain, from the Internet Society, for an undisclosed sum.[2]

Ethos Capital was founded by former ICANN chief executive Fadi Chehadé and investor Erik Brooks, the latter of whom was responsible for the acquisition by Abry Partners of Donits, a domain name registrar.[3] Other former ICANN staff, like former vice president Nora Abusitta-Ouri, has also moved to Ethos Capital.[4]
